We're looking for a versatile Analytics Engineer who enjoys solving technical and business problems. In this role, you'll partner closely with stakeholders to model data, build reliable data pipelines, develop AI-enabled analytics workflows, and create self-service tools that make data accessible to everyone. Primary Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated, resilient data transformation pipelines using software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and code reviews.
- Define and implement processes for monitoring data quality, proactively identifying issues, and improving the reliability of analytics assets.
- Build and maintain the foundation for agentic analytics development, including prompts, reusable skills, evaluation frameworks, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Develop and maintain semantic models and documentation that are easy for both humans and AI agents to discover, understand, and use.
- Build self-service analytics solutions—including dashboards, reports, data products, and integrations—that enable teams across the company to make data-informed decisions.
- Partner with Finance, Go-to-Market, Product, and other business teams to define metrics, identify data needs, and deliver trusted analytical assets.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product teams to ensure upstream data sources provide the appropriate quality, granularity, and freshness to support business objectives.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Expert-level SQL skills with experience building complex analytical models and performant queries.
- Hands-on experience developing data models with dbt.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate analytics engineering, including data modeling, querying, reporting, and workflow automation.
- Experience building self-service analytics solutions using modern BI platforms such as Omni, Looker, Hex, or Tableau.
- Strong written communication skills with a commitment to clear documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a strong focus on data quality, governance, and reliability.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate stakeholder needs into scalable data solutions.
- Experience in a high-growth startup or early-stage environment is strongly preferred.
